The Last Dream

In the barren lands of life

Dreams are one which keeps alive

The beauty of hopes that jive

I dared to dream one more time

It was cause of those serene eyes,

The beauty it had could rejuvenate lives,

The story they told could mesmerize life,

The whispered dreams found life in those eyes

It was cause of that graceful smile,

The spring envied the joyous bright,

The life claimed it to be the divine light,

The soul had eternal glory at first sight

It made me dream, she is the life

The long fetched “Ariel” of my life

The desire was to keep that dream alive

But Alas! Dreams are Dreams,

And the dare to dream has found its last time

Confrontation

The Hope carried, the Lies accepted
The Truth denied, the Reality ignored
May be it’s the way how He lived thy life

The Confrontation of Reality was never the outcome of insanity
But is the Hope, the Lies, the Deceit for thy identity
That may be those Deceits was the only validity
That may be those Lies was the only reality
That may be those Hopes was the only sanity

But Alas!! He knew and He always did
That lies were just lies, and hopes were just hopes
The convenience of a lie, and the happiness of hopes

Confronted with reality, those hopes are gone and the broken lies
Rationality becoming his way to fill the empty voice
The luxury of the life in those lies lived are gone
The serenity of life in the hopes bewildered is lost
What remains is the depraved life and the few shattered hopes

The pain of realization of those shattered dreams may be dire
But the moment lived in the those lies were the bliss desired
Vile may be confrontation of reality, but knows now, he, the Beauty of Lies
